How do I keep the Top Hat?

Take the Top Hat off before passing the tree that steals it. Walk past without wearing it, then put it back on from your inventory.

Can I get an axe in the demo?

The developer says you cannot normally obtain an axe in the demo. Videos showing an equipped axe can use a mod rather than a hidden pickup route.

How do I unlock Challenge Mode?

Finish the normal demo to unlock Challenge Mode. It starts with all traps active, keeps them unchanged after respawning, and adds harder obstacles.

Does the arcade high score unlock a secret ending?

The demo arcade is designed to become extremely fast near the top score and stop you reaching the leaderboard. No high-score secret-ending trigger has been confirmed.
